I was born to a wealthy-ish family, and raised in a peaceful and diverse neighborhood in central Toronto, Canada. Like most middle class kids growing up in Toronto, my friends are, and have always been, from everywhere. It`s easy to develop a profound curiosity and wanderlust in such a diverse city. And relatively painless to get some sort of casual and well-paying job to support your travels.
This is where I`m coming from in my writings on this site.
